Description

The Samue Enseki Gaisen is a traditional Japanese garment worn by Buddhist monks in Japan for maintenance work, Japanese gardening, and at the temple. Carefully crafted using traditional techniques from the Enshu region, this Samue is an exceptional piece. Local artisans use pre-dyed fabrics sourced from the Enshu region.

The pre-dyed fabric used for the exterior boasts exceptional quality. The inner padding is made with Teijin's "Warmal" material, providing cozy warmth due to its far-infrared radiation properties. This quilted Samue is ideal for cold winters.

The lining is pure cotton, helping to reduce the sensation of cold during wear. The cuffs of the jacket and the hems of the pants feature an elastic design to retain warmth.

This high-quality lined Samue consists of loose-fitting pants and a Gi kimono jacket. It lacks a reinforced collar, making it unsuitable for intensive ground grappling (Newaza) or throwing techniques (Nagewaza) in Judo, Jujitsu, Ninjutsu. However, it is ideal for relaxation, Yoga, Zazen meditation, as well as for practicing soft Chinese martial arts such as Kung fu, Chi kong, Taichi, and Junan Taiso from ninpo. It is also suitable for Shiatsu massage, Reiki, or other uses based on your preferences and hobbies.
