THE SAMUE - Heritage and Comfort at the Heart of Japanese Fashion:

This is a carefully selected Samue made using the excellent traditional techniques and craftsmanship of the Enshu region. Using yarn-dyed fabrics from the Enshu region, it is tailored by sewing craftsmen also from the Enshu region. 
Yarn-dyed sashiko-ori is woven using pre-dyed thread. Although it is a plain and rustic material, it has a color and texture that is unique to yarn dyeing, and is a very supple material regardless of its appearance, making it a thick and durable Samue that is perfect for the word ``simple and strong.'' Due to its thick material, this Samue is recommended for seasons other than summer, from early fall to early spring.
